Today, Foo Fighters released one of the two new songs that will be on their forthcoming Greatest Hits release, due out November 3rd. Featuring songs from all the band’s studio albums, and two previously unreleased songs, the compilation is a very decent representation of the bands hits. Though some singles are missing (“I’ll Stick Around,” “Walking After You,” “Next Year,” etc), the biggest of the hits are represented.
New song “Wheels,” which was first performed at the White House, of all places, is a mid-tempo 70s rock sounding song that is unmistakably influenced by Tom Petty. The other new song is “Word Forward,” which I have yet to hear.
